- Previously 10 years as consulting economist with National Economic Research Associates, including office director in Madrid, on NERA-UK’s Management Board and head of health consulting for Europe.
- Projects advising public/private sector clients in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa on institutional, economic and strategic issues, incl. health care finance and reform; social health insurance; pharmaceutical policy and usage; and hospital and primary provider organisation.

Medicines Transparency Alliance (MeTA), 2010
Evaluation of MeTA following two years of its existence across seven pilot countries. MeTA is a tripartite programme (government, civil society and pharmaceutical industry) aimed at increasing transparency in medicines pricing, procurement, quality and utilisation. Contribution to main findings and specific review of Peru and Philippines.
